A SMALL TOOL FOR THE OPEN BETA

cloudflare.config.ts builder

A typed starting point for a plain Worker. Choose your bindings, check the names, and copy the result. Everything runs locally in your browser.

Your Worker

Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens.

Defaults to today for a new Worker. Review runtime changes before updating an existing project.

Relative to your project root, for example ./src/index.ts.

Bindings

cloudflare.config.ts
import { defineConfig } from "cf/config";

export default defineConfig({
  worker: {
    name: "my-worker",
    compatibilityDate: "2026-09-29",
    entrypoint: "./src/index.ts",
  },
});

This is a configuration template, not a deployed resource or a complete project. Copy it as a starting point, then check the steps below.

Before you deploy

  • Add cf as a project dependency, set up a supported build integration, and make sure ./src/index.ts exists.
  • Run cf build and cf deploy --dry-run to validate your project before uploading it.

Follow the configuration guide and official build and deploy guide for the current beta.

What this example assumes

A plain Worker using cf 1.0.0-beta.5. Resource names refer to your intended database, bucket and queue. KV requires a namespace ID. The Durable Object example declares a new SQLite-backed class.

SDK syntax is checked against the Cloudflare configuration explorer and @cloudflare/config 0.20.0. For an existing Wrangler project, use cf migrate first.
